Matrix Organizational

Matrix organization is an attempt to combine the advantages of the pure functional structure and the product organizational structure. This form is identically suited for companies, such as construction, that are “project-driven”. The figure below shows a typical Matrix organization.

In a matrix organization, each project manager reports directly to the vice president and the general manager. Since each project represents a potential profit centre, the power and authority used by the project manager come directly from the general manager.

Hoka Hoka Bento was established in Jakarta on 18 April 1985, under license of a private company PT Eka Bogainti. The first restaurant was built in Kebun Kacang, Jakarta. As the leading Japanese fast food restaurant, we offer a healthy, wide variety, and hygienic Japanese food that is affordable. We also develop a cozy restaurant atmosphere. These principal make Hoka Hoka Bento the biggest “Japanese Fast Food” concept’s restaurant in Indonesia.

Hoka Hoka Bento expanded the Japanese Fast Food concept to Bandung. Until now, Hoka Hoka Bento has 12 stores that spread in various locations in Bandung.

Hoka Hoka Bento opened its first store in Surabaya. As time goes, Hoka Hoka Bento now has 10 stores that spread in various locations in Surabaya. Starting July 18th 2008, Hoka Hoka Bento could also be found in Malang.

Until April 2008, within 23 years of its existence, Hoka Hoka Bento is certainly growing and now has approximately 95 stores that spread in various locations in Jabotabek, Bandung, Banten and Surabaya.
